My Reflection

I enjoyed this class. However I worried about this class at first because I was not able to use computer properly. I thought it was impossible for me to make my blog, but I was happy to make my blog. Making blog was good experience for me. I think presentations were good activities because it was useful for improving English skill. I leaned how to make manuscripts and slides . I was able to speak aloud. Presentation's theme were interesting. I enjoyed searching information and making slides. I also enjoyed other classmate's presentations and was impressed by their presentation. I tried to make better presentation than before.

Double degree Program: Requirements and way of selection for double degree.

I will introduce about requirements and way of selection for double degree. Double degree is very useful system , but selection is done strictly too choose excellent students.

The number of student for double degree is 13 and only 5 or under 5 students are chosen from Department of British and American studies.

If you hope for double degree, you must be sophomore and over and you must score not less than 550 in the TOEFL.

Students for double degree are selected by writing essay, interview and their school record. It is difficult to be chose by for double degree, but it is worth trying!!

Taxi drivers and their passengers often have trouble. You must have good manner so as not to get into trouble.

Taxi drivers dislike passengers who drink alcohol, eat something, smoke in the taxi, complain about a fare or their driving and so on. Smoking in a taxi was prohibited completely. They like passengers who give thanks to them and greet them.

However taxi driver’s actions also become issue recently. There are a lot of drivers who are kind and polite , but some drivers are impolite and have bad road manner. You may be surprised when you see impolite drivers at first.

Bestival

I will introduce about what is Bestival. Bestival is a huge music festival in UK. It is held in September every year.

You can enjoy top quality music with grand nature. Many splendid musicians take part in this festival every year.

Furthermore various funny events are held apart from live performances. Almost all participants enjoy Bestival while camping . This festival also tries to achieve the aim of raising young people’s awareness for human rights through music.

This festival is held for three days and about twenty thousand people come to this festival every year. A lot of music festivals are held in UK and Bestival is an increasingly popular festival.

Menkaura's Pyramid is one of the Great Pyramids of Giza. It was built in about 26 B.C.
Menkaura was king of Egypt. Menkaura is khufu’s grand child and Khafra’s son.

He is known as most respectable king in Egypt because he didn’t make people obedient. But
his pyramid is the smallest in the Great Pyramids of Giza. It is only half the size of
other Pyramids. It is thought that Egypt at that time was not able to build big Pyramid
because of getting into financial trouble.

The Hill of Blume

I am going to introduce about hands-on classes. Various hands-on classes are held everyday . You can take part in cooking class or making handicrafts class or painting article class.

At the cooking class, you can make various foods. For example, sausage, pizza, butter, bread, ice cream and so on. You can make ice cream and bread with fresh milk which have been milked on the farm.

At the handicrafts class, you can make dolls , toys, and so on. At the painting class, you can paint and decorate ocarina, dishes, mugs, photo frames and so on.

Furthermore different hands-on class are held according to seasons and events. For example, in summer you can make mango ice cream and pizza with vegetables grown in summer. On Valentine Day, making fondant chocolate classes are held.
